What makes EcoFan Filters so great? They're the only eco-friendly air purifying system in the world.

How does it work? EcoFan Filters use the circular air current in a room that the ceiling fan naturally creates when turned on. Ceiling fans push hot air downwards towards the floor forcing the air to circulate upwards against the bedroom walls and then force the air back down through the top of the fan blades where our filters have the opportunity to capture airborne contaminants before they're forced back down.

Can I try one for free? We regularly have giveaways on our social media platforms.

Can it actually save me money? Yes! Traditional air purifiers can really add up over time in comparison to our product.

Can I use one outdoors? No, our filters have a biodegradable casing made from 100% recycled paper. They aren't built for outdoor conditions.

Can I wash and reuse my filter? No, our filters have a biodegradable casing made from 100% recycled paper. If exposed to moisture, they will start to decompose.

How often should I replace my EcoFan Filter? You should replace your EcoFan Filter every 4 months.

Do they have a shelf life? No, but our activated carbon filters will absorb certain volatile organic compounds (VOCs), so we advise using them asap while it's most effective.

How much do they weigh? Only 30 grams. Once again, that's not a typo.

What is it made out of? The outer casing is made of 100% decomposable cardstock (paper). The Filter itself is made of MERV13 filtering fabric, which is composed of polypropylene and acrylic fibers, mainly without fiberglass. The activated carbon filter is made of raw materials such as coal, wood, coconut husk, and bamboo.

What can it filter from the air? Odors, dust, pollen, dust mites, mold, pet dander, lint, bacteria, and allergens that are as small as 0.3 microns.

How do I install the EcoFan filter? 1. Prep the top of your fan blade by wiping the blade with a clean cloth. Ensure the fan blade is dry before placing the EcoFan Filter. 2. Peel off the backing paper under your EcoFan Filter, exposing the sticky surface. 3. Near the motor, stick the filter on top, centered on the fan blade, and flush to the fan arm. NOTE: Ensure air direction is entering the EcoFan Filters airflow opening.

Where are they manufactured? They are handmade in Downey, CA, USA.

What's an activated carbon filter? These filters are most commonly used to remove gases and odors. They are designed to filter gases through a bed of activated carbon and are usually used to combat volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from common household products.

What speed should my fan be on? We recommend having your ceiling fan on medium speed while using an EcoFan Filter.

Why is my ceiling fan shaking or wobbling? Your EcoFan Filter may have been installed incorrectly, leading to your ceiling fan needing to be more balanced.

Can I use one of my ceiling fans rotating counterclockwise? Yes, but you will have to install your filter facing the opposite direction.

Can I use more than one filter in the same ceiling fan? No, this is not recommended because you might burn out your fan motor.

Why are there black particles in my EcoFan Filter? Your filter has a REAL activated carbon filter, unlike most air purifiers which have a black sponge. This activated carbon filter contains processed carbon which is a natural filtration for water and air. So rest assured your filter isn't dirty.

How much is shipping? Shipping is calculated at checkout and is determined by your location.

Can I return my EcoFan Filter? Yes, you have 15 days to return your order. Please be aware if you decide to return your filter, do so BEFORE installing it onto your ceiling fan. Since our filters can't be restocked and resold if a customer decides to return AFTER installation, we are not able to accept returns if the product shows any signs of being installed, used, or damaged. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Any original shipping fees will not be refunded.

How long will my refund take to process? We submit refunds once we've received the product. Once we've verified the integrity of the product, we immediately issue a refund which should show up on your end in approximately 5-10 business days, depending on your form of payment and banking institution.

Do you ship internationally? No, we're working on it but not at the moment.

Do you offer overnight shipping? No, Not at the moment.

Will there be any taxes on my order? You will only pay taxes if you're located in California.

Where do you ship? We ship out of Downey, CA, USA, to anywhere in the United States.

When will my order ship? After our 2nd cup of coffee, once we're done, it takes us 1-3 business days for your order to process and ship. You will receive an email confirmation when your order has shipped.

When will I receive my order? Most orders arrive within 7-10 business days after being placed.

My package is lost, what should I do? KEEP CALM! USPS will sometimes mark an item as delivered even if it hasn't yet been dropped off physically. If you've received a notice of delivery but you can't find your package, it's likely that it will show up within 24 hours of the delivery email. If 24 hours have passed, contact us at help@ecofanfilters.com so we can help out.

Is shipping eco-friendly? Yes, our filters only weigh 30 grams, so there's very little carbon footprint during shipping. Also, our products are delivered in paper bags and cardboard with NO PLASTIC bubble wrap.

Can I cancel my order? We can only guarantee cancellations within 30 minutes of placing an order. So please contact us ASAP! Once an order has shipped, you will need to return your purchase before we're able to refund your order.

Can I change my mailing address after placing my order? Yes, but we can only guarantee a correct mailing address if you reach out to us within 30 minutes of placing your order.

Which payment methods do you accept? We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. We also accept Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and Paypal.

Do you ship to PO boxes? Absolutely!
